Brian Bogle & Sara Fox

Sunspot
Winter Park, Colorado

Yesterday, Keegan and I photographed Sara and Brian's wedding. Everyone was having a GREAT time! The weather was perfect, the location was beautiful, the guests were fun and Sara and Brian were having a fantastic time!

I am going to work backwards with the photos today....you don't want to know why...

Their first dance was a salsa and it was the best first dance that I have ever seen. I wish you could see the way they moved!

Here is James. signature photo but with prettier clothes than yesterday....

And another photo that James pointed out to me....

Sara had both of her parents walk her down the aisle. I did the same thing when I was married 19 years ago. I never really have understood why the father gets to give the bride away and the mother has to sit on the sidelines watching.....

Just after they were married.....
Some photos of their great friends....

And their parents. The mountain range in the background was engraved into their wedding bands....

I love this photo of all of them scattered across the mountainside....

And of Sara and the back of her dress...

A quick shot of when Sara and Brian first saw each other....

In order to get to some beautiful vista's for the photos we had to walk a little bit.

The entire wedding party and all of the guests rode the chairlifts up to the lodge.

Brian waiting....

Some photos of Sara's beautiful dress. The details of the lace trimming and the cut of the dress made it the perfect dress for Sara. Understated but beautiful.

Some of the photos will be posted on the web site within the next couple of weeks.

Sara and Brian, thank you so much for having me and Keegan photograph your wedding. It is one that will always stay in my memory for many reasons. You have wonderful families and fantastic friends that cherish you and your friendship. Thank you for having me and Keegan be a part of your wedding celebration.

Sara & Brian's RD

james and erin

A bit over a year ago our very close friends James & Erin introduced me to Sara & Brian. A few months later they watched Keegan, my 13 year old daughter at the time, photograph James and Erin's wedding. Shortly afterwards Brian called me to talk about photographing their wedding in Winter Park, Colorado. They wanted a second shooter and wanted to have Keegan be it. This is her first destination wedding and the first time she and I have traveled to shoot a wedding together.

Last night was the RD and everyone was having so much fun I wanted to pass it along as quickly as possible. It was held at the Derailer Bar at the base of the mountain.

Here is a shot Keegan took. She LOVES to get up close.

Then there was the flying baby. Afterwards in the hotel Keegan and I were talking about what we saw and photographed. And this shot came up. The first one is mine, the second is Keegan's. I love them both but her perspective is so unique. She told me that everyone was photographing the baby and she wanted to focus on him but still include the baby. And a little bit of music.....

We are shooting the wedding up at The Lodge at Sunspot later on today. It all should be really beautiful!

On April 1 we decided to open an office in Livingston! Within four days we had everthing moved and finally have everything looking pretty! our new address is 124 1/2 Main St. on the second floor, above the Montana Watch Co. .

Sexy Photos on your wedding day...as a suprise for your husband.

Barbel, one of my close friends and associates, is always thinking of something different that we should incorporate into our photography here at Nashan Photographers. Over the last year she has been talking to her brides about doing some sexy shots while they are getting ready. She just photographed a wedding at the Rock Creek Resort in Red Lodge, Montana and did some photos that I think are beautiful and that you may want to do on your wedding. It only takes a few extra minutes and it makes for a great surprise for your husband! (You can give them to him for your three month or four month anniversary!)

Here are a few shots that she took. (I did ask the bride if she was alright with me using them on the blog and she said she was!) There are a bunch more but the bride asked me to only use the images that didn't show her face.....

Lori & Chris in Marco Island, Florida

May 31, 2008
Photographed by Cindy & Holly

Lori got the wedding of her dreams – a beach wedding in Marco Island, Florida.
The stormy skies cleared just in time for the ceremony to take place on the beach.
Lori and Chris are a wonderful couple that have great families who all worked together on the beautiful wedding details.
The jewelry that adorned Lori’s feet and the star fish boutonniere for Chris, are just a couple of the handmade details that went into this wedding.
It was really sweet to see a family that cared so much for each other.

Allison & Adam, Ritz Carlton, Naples, Florida

Allison and Adam had a beautiful wedding on the Ritz Carlton beach in Naples, Florida. Adam was in his bare feet and put on the one shoe to complete the tradition of breaking the glass. He smashed the glass with success and the crowd cheered “mazzeltov!!”

The couple and their guests (from as far away as Israel and Australia) had a wonderful dinner in the beach house then went downstairs for their "After Glow" party. We really enjoyed photographing this one, there are so many wonderful traditions in the Jewish wedding.

Tracy and Scott have been together for many years and wanted to have their beach wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida. They invited their family and closest to friends to share the day with them. Their lovely children were part of the ceremony too.

After a perfect sunset ceremony on the beach, they spent the rest of the evening in the beach house, celebrating with good food and lots of dancing. It was a fun event, we wish Tracy and Scott all the best!

Our First Amendment

I was travelling to San Fransisco to shoot a wedding yesterday and as I was getting on the plane in Denver I noticed the First Amendment tattooed on the back of the woman in front of me. My first reaction was that I wanted to photograph her back but didn't want to appear like a creep. I knew my opportunity would last for about 30 seconds. I mustered up enough courage and asked her if I could take her photo when we got off the plane, gave her my card so she would know that I was a professional and hoped she would say yes. She immediately agreed and I told her that I would send her a copy. I met her at the luggage carousel and we popped into the bathroom and this is what I saw. At a time like this, just before our big election I was happy to be able to document something that is so important and so beautiful. Thank you Jennifer!!
